Known as the "Hidden Jewel of Indonesia", Bali produces some of the best coffee coming out of the island. The highland plateau of Kintamani, between the volcanoes of Batukaru and Agung, is the main coffee growing area.

Coffee plants came to Indonesia by way of Dutch traders and colonialists in the late 1600's, who had secured coffee seeds from Yemen (arguably by smuggling them out) just earlier that century. The first island to grow coffee was Java, home to the city Jakarta (then called Batavia).

Indonesia produces some of our favorite coffees. They're complex, syrupy, low acidity and typically extremely dense which makes them ideal for roasting on the darker side.

Our freshly roasted coffee is sealed in our signature black bags and then nitrogen flushed to preserve it's peak freshness. Tasting just as if it were roasted in your own home, you will never go back to boring grocery store coffee again.

Brewing Methods:

Use clean, cold, fresh, chemical-free water that has been filtered preferably. Add 2 rounded Tbsps. per every 8 ozs of water. Grind coffee fresh to match your brewing method. The brew water should be around 200 degrees F (93 degrees C). Keep brewing equipment clean. Store coffee beans and grounds in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture.

  • One 12 oz bag = about 25-30 8 oz cups of coffee
  • One 5 lb bag = 180 8 oz cups of brewed coffee

MAKE IT A COLD BREW!

In an airtight jar, combine 1 cup of ground coffee with 4 cups of cold water. Steep for 12 to 18 hours in the refrigerator. Next, strain the coffee grounds through a cheesecloth or use a French press to filter. Add additional cold water to the cold brew to desired strength. Enjoy black or add milk and sugar to taste.

TRY IT ICED!

Brew coffee double strength by using 4 rounded Tbsps. per every 8 oz of cold water. Let cool, then pour over ice. Enjoy black or add milk and sugar to taste.

We select and import only the finest quality hand picked gourmet Arabica beans from around the world. Roast in small batches to order and ship them out to you within 24 hours to ensure absolute freshness.
