Difference Between a Coffee Importer vs. a Coffee Roaster.....

The Coffee Importer bridges the gap between global coffee farmers and local roasters, handeling sourcing, logistics, customs and warehousing for green (unroasted beans).

The Coffee Roaster buys these green beans from the importer to apply heat in a controlled process, to transforming them into the aromatic, brown beans sold to consumers. The roaster also manages the craft of flavor development and proper packaging.

In short, the Importer brings the raw material in and the Roaster creates the final product.
